Kewal Kiran Clothing (KKCL), the manufacturer of ‘Killer’ jeans is planning to add 40-60 outlets through franchise route.

Kewal Kiran Clothing (KKCL), the manufacturer of ‘Killer’ jeans is planning to add 40-60 outlets through franchise route. Killer is the premium brand of KKCL and it contributes 53 per cent of the sales of the company. Presently, KKCL operates 135 retail stores to showcase its brands that include Killer, Lawman, Easies and Integriti.

As per the officials, they are looking at opening franchised outlets in order to avoid high rentals. KKCL presently has 89 K-lounge, 19 Killer, 15 Integriti and three Lawman stores with nine factory outlets. The new stores will be opened across the country, with majority of them as franchisee-owned.

KKCL has its manufacturing units located at Daman, Vapi and Mumbai that has an overall capacity of manufacturing three million pieces per year. The Mumbai manufacturing unit is for designing and stitching.
