- Kimaya to venture into smaller cities
Kimaya, a company housing labels from all leading designers in the country now plans to venture in to tier-II cities and towns. As per the company officials, Kimaya is opening 10 outlets by the end of this year in north India targeting cities like Ludhiana, Amritsar and Chandigarh via franchise route.
The company expects to mark about 40 per cent of its overall revenue from tier II-III cities in the next two years.
At presently Kimaya has 16 outlets, out of which only one is franchised and others are company owned and operated. The Kimaya assortment includes leading names like Rohit Bal, Suneet Varma, Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Malhotra, and Anamika Khanna to name a few.
