- Komala’s restaurant enters India
Komala’s Restaurant, a Singapore based fast food chain enters India with the opening its first restaurant in Mumbai recently. The company has entered India by signing a Master Franchise Agreement with Primary Cuisine Pvt. Ltd.
The company is planning to launch two restaurants by this year and add seven more restaurants by 2011. Komala’s Restaurant is targeting the western and the northern region of India for opening its outlets in the next two years.
Established in 1947, the restaurant has built up a high reputation for its quality, value-for-money authentic Indian food, as well as its commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Presently, the company has 10 restaurants in Singapore and is also operating in countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Middle East.
