Koyla, a rooftop restaurant in Colaba, Mumbai has opened its second franchised restaurant in Andheri, Mumbai, confirms company sources. It is a franchised restaurant, and is being run by Hasan Gaffar, a family friend of Farhan Azmi, Restaurateur of Koyla.
Farhan Azmi has started the restaurant in 2000. The new branch is spread over an area of 5,000 sq. ft with a seating arrangement for 130 people. Situated on an open-roof terrace, the new Koyla has a separate shisha section, with 30 seats. It serves the Al-Fakher range of tobaccos, available in double apple, mint, strawberry, and cappuccino flavour. Like the Colaba branch, it also specialises in north Indian cuisine, such as dum pukht, and murg malai kebab, cooked on coal.
The company also has a restaurant in Hyderabad, which was opened two years back, and is the first franchised unit.
