Lemon Tree Hotels, the largest mid-priced hotel sector chain in India, has expanded its presence in West Bengal by signing a License Agreement for the 80-room hotel.
Located at Sujalaam Skycity Andal, Durgapur, the hotel is likely to be operational by January 2023, under the company’s brand name “Lemon Tree Hotel”.
The new hotel will be operated and marketed by Carnation Hotels Pvt Limited, the hotel management arm of the company. It is proposed to have banquet facilities, gym, spa, bar, swimming pool and all-day dinner.
Lemon Tree Hotel, a hotel chain company based in India, owns and operates 57 hotels, with more than 5800 rooms across 34 cities of the country. As of 30 June 2017, Lemon Tree is India’s largest hotel chain in mid-priced under hotel sector and 3rd largest overall, in terms of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms.
