- Lenovo India plans aggressive expansion
Lenovo India, renowned personal computer maker is planning to raise count of its franchised outlets to 1,000 by the year 2012. Currently, the company has 400 outlets across India and is aspiring to become number one vendor in the country in its business segment.
Recently, the company has disclosed its plans to offer its premium product namely ThinkPad X1, a notebook that will target the enterprise customers. The product will be available at retail outlets of the company. The brand claims it to be the world's slimmest thinkpad measuring less than 17 mm.
Lenovo India has its registered office in Bangalore. The Lenovo Group Limited founded in 1984 is headquartered in the USA and develops, produces and delivers its products across six continents.
