- Liberty plans to open 100 outlets
Liberty Shoes Limited is planning to open more than 100 outlets via the franchise route in the country.
The cities where brand’s expansion will take place include Bhavnagar, Rajouri, Sambha, Haldwani, Kanpur, Sitapur, Gorakhpur, Maharajpur, Jhansi, Udaipur, Vijaywada, Kakinada, Vizag, Jabalpur, Bhopal and Indore.
“We intend to reach to as many consumers as possible. We are currently focusing on cities, with a population more than four lakh and where our presence is not so strong. In Kerala, we have planned to invest Rs 10 crore and to open 10 outlets in the state. The state is an emerging market and suitable for investors to invest,” says Raman Bansal, Director-Sales, Liberty Shoes Limited.
The brand has been fashioning footwear for over 60 years with the product portfolio for everyone.
“With the concept of fashion along comfort, we intend to redefine the Indian footwear industry. We have been ranked number two in footwear industry in India with a record turnover of Rs 500 crore and selling over one crore pairs in the FY 13-14,” adds Raman Bansal.
The group has a high fashion chain in metros and state capitals across the country catering to individual styles and looks. Other than basic support and training to its franchisees, Liberty also negotiates lease with space owner on behalf of the franchisee.
The brand has worldwide distribution network of 150 distributors, 500+ showrooms and more than 6000 multi-brand outlets. It has reached more than 25 countries, including major international fashion destinations like France, Italy and Germany. Coolers, Fortune, Tiptopp, Force 10, Senorita, Gliders, Footfun, Warriors, prefect and Windsor are the hot names of Liberty.
