Liberty, an Indian footwear brand has taken its footprints to south India once again by opening an outlet in Tiruchirapalli. After receiving a good response in Salem, Liberty has now opened an outlet here. The store is spread over an area of 2,300 sq. ft. The brand has plans to open 20 stores in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka each as a part of its south India expansion plan via the franchise route.
Speaking on the occasion, Anupam Bansal, Managing Director, Liberty Retail Revolutions Ltd, said, “We are extremely pleased to launch our flagship store in Tiruchirapalli. The store is an addition to our portfolio in southern region. The store promises to be a consumer’s delight and will offer exciting range of products at affordable prices. The launch is a part of our aggressive expansion plans for the south market and we are looking at investing an amount of Rs 40-50 lakh in this financial year towards opening stores in other cities of this region.”
