Lite Bite Foods Pvt Ltd that has brands like Punjab Grill, Baker Street and Pino’s under its umbrella plans to open 15-20 outlets by the end of this financial year. The company currently has a total of 84 outlets across the globe and by the year end it aims to take the count to more than 90.

Shedding light on its expansion plans and opting for franchise route, Chief Operating Officer, Sharad Sachdeva, Lite Bite Foods Pvt Ltd, says, “We have aggressive plans to expand through franchise route. We plan to open 15-20 more outlets by the end of the current financial year. We are also planning to tap tier-I and II cities for our flagship brand Punjab Grill. However, we are looking for a good opportunity in commercial areas and shopping centres for our QSR brands, Street Foods by Punjab Grill, Baker Street and Pino’s.”

The company is also planning to expand its operations overseas and has already signed agreements with Abu Dhabi and Bangkok for opening Punjab Grill outlets. The talks are in the final stages with Sri Lanka too. “We are also looking at Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Dubai very positively for the international expansion. We believe a strong and healthy partnership is the key to success, hence we are very particular in choosing our partners.” adds Sachdeva.
