Founded by Sunita Pawar in 1994, LookWell began as a small home-based set-up that quickly grew and opened its first official salon in 1996. Today, the brand has expanded to over 26 locations, serving more than 20,000 clients monthly, driven by a commitment to quality, care, and a client-first approach. "LookWell Salon’s journey embodies resilience and dedication. My mother’s focus was always on treating clients with utmost respect," says Mukul Pawar, Sunita’s son and Director of LookWell Salon.
When Mukul joined LookWell in 2014, his expertise in SAP and certification from the L'Oréal Academy helped elevate LookWell’s profile, ensuring consistent quality across its locations. Today, LookWell operates with over 400 professionals, each embodying the values that have defined the brand’s success.
Constantly adapting to meet client needs, LookWell partners with premium brands like L'Oréal, Kérastase, Skeyndor, and Thalgo. Recently, the brand introduced a state-of-the-art aesthetic clinic with advanced treatments including microblading, laser reduction, and anti-aging therapies. With a commitment to eco-friendly practices, LookWell balances luxury with responsibility, setting a standard in the Indian beauty sector.
Franchising as a Strategic Growth Model
Franchising allowed LookWell to extend its reach while fostering a network of empowered entrepreneurs. "Our first franchisees were close friends and family who believed in our vision," Mukul notes. Beginning with successful franchises in Badlapur and Ambernath, LookWell expanded to seven outlets in just four years. The brand’s scalable model promises continued growth in new markets.
