- Mahindra First Choice to open 30 new workshops in Andhra Pradesh
Mahindra First Choice Services (MFCS), a chain of multi-brand car service workshops, opened its first workshop at Mahanadu Road near Autonagar in Vijayawada.
Announcing it to media persons here, company CEO Y.V.S. Vijay Kumar said that plans have been chalked out to open 30 new workshops in the State by 2016 in addition to the existing facilities at Tirupati, Nellore, Ongole and Kurnool.
MFCS is providing franchise plans with a high-level of support right from helping them design workshops to ensuring optimum utilisation of land and resources, besides selecting right manpower by imparting technical training at the centres in Noida and Bengaluru, Kumar said.
According to him, the company, in the last one year, has appointed more than 190 franchisees, of which 59 workshops were already established and the remaining would start operations within four months. MFCS’s investment of around Rs.250 crore will go towards creating infrastructure.
