- ManU makes it way to northern India
Announcing its tie-up with Great Moments Hospitality (GMH) their sole franchisee holder in North India, Manchester United Food and Beverage (MUFB) (Asia) is all geared to launch 10 food outlets in the northern India by 2010. Under the alliance, the hospitality arm of the world's richest sports club will set up its first outlet in Delhi by the end of this year. The announcement of the alliance was held in the capital and was witnessed by the Indian Football Captain Baichung Bhutia. As told to Beny Sachdeva of FIHL, the company is excited that after bringing fashion, life style, art and music it now brings to India another exciting concept which is related to the world’s number one sport, football and the most popular football club in the world, the Manchester United. The company’s endeavor is to cater our guests with paramount entertainment of unending regalement in hospitality and sports. GMH is targeting the NCR along with cities like Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Jaipur and Dehradun for setting up its stores. English Premier League and Manchester United have a great fan following in a promising market like India. These outlets would combine the thrill of football with great food. MUFB Asia has outlets in Singapore, Indonesia, Bangkok, Korea and Japan.
