- Mercedes-Benz seeks 14 partners in tier II & III cities
Mercedes-Benz is on its way to come up with 14 more outlets in matured as well as emerging tier II and III cities in India. This will be Mercedes-Benz’s most aggressive network expansion in a single year in India and will continue to further expand the densest luxury car network for the Indian market. With 69 outlets in 38 cities, Mercedes-Benz, as part of its ‘go to customer’ strategy, will extend its presence to over 80 outlets by end 2015.
The luxury car maker recently inaugurated luxury car dealership of Jamshedpur, Tristar Motors. On company’s expansion, Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, commented, “2014 was a very successful year and with our comprehensive growth strategy, we are confident of achieving a similar success this year as well. Our qualitative network expansion strategy is intrinsic to our growth story as we continue to reach out to new customers and provide them the best luxury automotive experience.”
“Tristar Motors, Jamshedpur which is the city’s first luxury car dealership is a reiteration of our commitment to the customers in this important emerging market. We are increasingly focusing on tier II and III cities, as we believe these markets will be the next growth drivers for the luxury car industry.
