Mercedes-Benz, the luxury car manufacturer, has launched the 'Silver Star' facility in Vizag. With this, the car maker has expanded its presence in Andhra Pradesh.
Spread across 30,000 sq ft area, the dealership comprises 20 professionally trained staff and 10 service bays for car servicing. The Vizag dealership has been set up with an investment of Rs 3.5 crores.
Martin Schwenk, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said, “Restless for Tomorrow is going to be our brand motto for 2020 which is inspired by the success of our customers and we will be creating a new benchmark in the automotive market in India.”
“Continuing our success story, we have created positive momentum in Vizag with a recorded delivery of 50 cars. Vizag is an important emerging market for Mercedes-Benz in India, and we see immense potential in this region,” he further added.
The launch of this dealership follows the company’s announcement stating its plans for India which included the country’s first premium electric SUV.
Features of the new dealership
The new dealership will act as a one-stop-shop for all the sales and customer service requirements for customers in Vizag and adjoining areas. It is equipped to offer preventive maintenance & general repair, body & paint repair.
The Vizag facility can service more than 3600 cars per year. The car maker further claims that the dealership features a Café Mercedes, Mercedes-Benz accessories & merchandise section and customer lounge.
