Mahindra First Choice Services (MFCS), multi-brand car Workshop Company, is expanding its base in Chennai. The MFCS is appointing 10 franchisees in the Chennai region. The brand recently inaugurated its first franchise outlet - KLN Motor Agencies- at Ekkattuthangal.
YVS Vijay Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, MFCS, inaugurated the agency. From this new workshop, MFCS operates 28 Company owned Company Operated (COCO) workshops across India.
“With a car population of over six lakh and a culture of strong process adherence, Chennai was the logical choice for us to establish our first franchisee workshop. Moreover, we already have a strong network in the city with three COCO workshops at Ambattur, Guindy and Nerkundram. With its strategic location and local knowledge, KLN Motor Agency will help MFCS to further enhance its reach and reputation,” said Kumar
“We have also appointed 10 additional franchisee workshops in the Chennai cluster which are all set to commence operations in the next three months. We are also actively exploring newer regions like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR and Punjab and Karnataka which will help us meet our target of 100 plus workshops by the end of this fiscal. This will enable us to enhance the scale and depth of our operations, allow us to reach a greater number of potential customers and most importantly, give us economies of scale,” he added.
MFCS believes that it has a very strong proposition for the franchisee. The company offers a simplified business model in multi-brand car servicing with robust supply chain for spare parts through its cluster warehouse. MFCS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, is a chain of multi-brand car workshops across major cities in India including Bangalore, Nasik, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Surat, Vapi and Chennai.
