Mahindra First Choice Services (MFCS), a chain of multi-brand car workshop, is looking forward to open 500 workshops with investment of Rs 250 crore by 2018.
The company, which was established in 2008, will invest in creating basic infrastructure and expanding its network across the country. At present, it has 49 workshops, including 29 company-owned workshops across the country. The company has managed to service 2.5 lakh cars since inception.
MFCS recently opened its first Franchisee Owned Franchisee Operated (FOFO) workshop in Meerut. It already operates four workshops in Ghaziabad and Noida and six in Punjab and Chandigarh.
Alok Kapoor (Head – Marketing & Franchise Business) at the inauguration of the new workshop, said, “With its large car population, Meerut was the logical choice for us to strengthen our workshop network in UP. We already have a good presence in North India with 11 workshops and plan to further expand our network in the region with the addition of another 25 new workshops in UP by June this year.”
“Our business model for franchisees has received a strong response across the country and our customers find good value in the attractive combination of good quality, speedy delivery and saving on service costs. With increase in our network strength, we are confident of further leveraging on economies of scale to deliver higher value to our franchise partners,” he added.
