At present it has a network of 370 franchise outlets spread across 210 locations across India, including metros, mini metros and smaller towns.
"Currently the company has a footprint in Punjab comprising of 19 dealerships and we further plan to expand this number to 25 outlets by year end. There is a great demand from main towns like Ludhiana, Chandigarh and Jalandhar. Even smaller towns like Hoshiarpur and Gurdaspur are driving the growth,” says Yatin Chadha,Senior Vice President, Retail Business, MFCWL
Owing to the increasing demand of used cars all over the country, the company is targeting 100 outlets this fiscal. The company is growing at a CAGR of 35 per cent over the last five years. The cumulative retail footprint under Mahindra First Choice brand is over 7.5 lakh square feet.
The brand desires at ensuring that cars presented to the customers are in a good condition. Before purchasing the car, a trained engineer thoroughly inspects the vehicle. After purchase, the car is refurbished and undergoes an extensive 118 point quality check by a trained engineer, as a part of the company’s certification process.
MFCWL has a significant presence in the online space also. Through its ‘Autobid’ auction platform it has sold more than 1.5 lakh vehicles till date. The company has also launched a new product, the Indian Blue Book (IBB) which is a comprehensive unbiased resource for consumers and dealers to determine the value of their used cars. A new product for car evaluation by the name of ‘Autoinspekt’ has also been launched.
