milliCare is excited to announce that it has awarded a new franchise in India. milliCare by Fine Textures is opening its first milliCare location in Bangalore and expects to open four more units over the next couple of years. The owners, Harsh Waddan and Shantanu Katkar, have known each other since 2000, and became partners in a commercial carpet cleaning business (KP Facilities) in 2009. Some of their current customers include Accenture, Bank of America, Barclays, Deloitte, and Shell.

Waddan and Katkar developed an interest in a milliCare franchise through their conversations with Milliken carpet sales representative Jagdish Nambiar, as they recognized a need for milliCare services in their market.

Bill Helton, milliCare’s Director of Franchise Development  said “The addition of Fine Textures helps to expand our footprint as we move towards a more global brand. Their current relationships in the floor maintenance industry will serve them well as they move forward with milliCare in India’.

Waddan attended new franchise training at the milliCare headquarters in Spartanburg, SC in November and has now returned to India to launch the new venture.

Steve Willis, milliCare’s Managing Director “We are excited to welcome Harsh and Shantanu to the milliCare network. Their years of experience and professionalism fit perfectly into the global expansion of milliCare”.
