Tell us how the distributor model of Multilink works?

We offer account managers for every single Distributer who looks after day to day sales operations and marketing support by advertisement material.

What all products and services do you offer?

Our company offers various services like money transfer, cash card, mobile recharges, bill payment, hotel booking, travel packages, car rental, shopping, bus, flight & IRCTC ticket booking through our B2B portal. We have also started a product, e-Shop. This is complete software solution for shop owners who want to get their business online.

Tell us about scope in this industry.

Yes it is. On social and commercial front I am convinced that the e-commerce industry has a bright future. The e-commerce industry holds huge potential to offer vast employment opportunities for every individual.

What and how do you provide support to your partners/distributors?

We provide motivational support, R&R, loyalty programme and various other offers.

How many distributors do you have pan-India and what are your expansion plans for this year ahead?

Today, Multilink has network of 700+ Distributors and 15,000+ agent network across India. In 2014 we signed 800 franchisees out of which 500 were operational but in 2015 we have targeted 1000 franchisees to be signed and 900 should be operational during the period. We are showing 50% growth every year in the number of franchisees.

Any words of guidance to the startups in the same segment or youngsters who wish to start a biz in the same industry?

Execution is the key to the success in this business and we want to build a team which focuses on getting the job done. Identify new opportunities by focusing on the weak signals and if you give 100 per cent to everything, probably you will enjoy 200 per cent of the benefits.
