The selected locations for the 29 charging stations include six divisional office buildings of NMC, Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, near Tapovan bus depot, Amrutdham fire station, Satpur fire station, Rajeev Sambhaji Stadium, Bytco Hospital in Nashik Road, Krishi Nagar jogging track in Nashik Road, Krishi Nagar jogging track in Nashik West division, parking behind B.D. NMC officials stated that they are in the process of obtaining power connections for the proposed charging stations. "We plan to set up 106 EV charging stations in the city in the coming years. We have also approached the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to assist in providing power supply for these charging points," they added.

Each EV charging station will be equipped with two charging points, allowing the simultaneous charging of 2 four-wheelers and 3 two-wheelers.
