NeoStencil, a test preparation platform for Government job exams, has joined hands with Motion Education, the Kota-based coaching institute, for IIT JEE and NEET exams. Starting from April 2019, Gurugram based ed-tech startup will provide IIT-JEE and NEET courses online and live classroom to students.
According to the market estimate, the test preparation market in India is estimated to be worth Rs 85,000 crore. Nearly 2.5-3 million students apply for JEE and NEET entrance exams combined every year.
Kush Beejal, Co-Founder of NeoStencil, said, “After a successful three-plus year in the government job test preparation, entering into JEE and NEET was a natural extension for us.”
The startup is expecting to offer comprehensive learning for IIT/NEET exam via online so that the students do not have to leave their regular schools for relocating to Kota or other metro cities.
“This is similar to work-for-home concept adopted in the corporate world, where it allowed employees to work from the comfort of home, thus saving on time, energy, traveling cost and allowing work flexibility,” Beejal added.
Nitin Vijay, Managing Director, Motion Education, stated, “There is no denying the fact that online learning is the future of education. We, therefore, want to be the early adopters in embracing technology for providing top quality IIT-JEE and NEET coaching.”
