Atmanirbhar Bharat came up as the vision of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, while the country was battling the covid-19 crisis in the year 2020; NEP 2020 was introduced in 2020 (as the name Depicts) and is the first education policy of the 21st century that is a replacement of the thirty-four year old National Policy on Education NPE 1986

Summit India, in association with All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), has organized an event to celebrate the 75 years of independent India. The Event named ‘Aatmnirbhar Bharat ki Bhagedari’ also included an award ceremony felicitated to honour some of the deserving Aatmnirbhar national heroes with the National Achievers Awards 2022 for their achievements and excellence in various fields.

Atmanirbhar Bharat came up as the vision of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, while the country was battling the covid-19 crisis in the year 2020; the prime minister gave a clarion call for Atmanirbhar Bharat and also announced a special economic package.

Ashwini kumar Choubey, Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, said that education paves the way for success in everyone’s life. As the country is celebration 75 glorious years on Independence the new education policy will help youths reach new heights and India will become a USD 5 trillion economy by 2025.

“Under the successful leadership of our Prime Minister, a powerful national education policy has been created which will give a new direction to the youth of our country.” He added.

Shyam Jaju, Chairperson of Summit India said, while remembering his own political journey, “With Summit India, our aim is to increase the awareness about these government schemes and policies; we will be reaching out to the masses at the grass root level and make it successful, this will further create job opportunities and people will start becoming self reliant, when people will start becoming self reliant on a large scale, the dream of Aatmnirbhar Bharat will be achieved.”

He also said that Aatmnirbhar Bharat should be viewed as an important step towards India’s growth infrastructure. He mentioned that steps which have been taken to conceptualize the dream of making country self reliant like Make in India, Startup India, Skill India and many more can help in achieving the USD 5 trillion economy by 2025.

Speaking about the association with Summit India, Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairperson of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), said that in the India is now able to make almost everything from a nib of a pen to a satellite. He said that the country must focus on giving technical education to the youth of the country by focusing more on providing skill based jobs.

“With this we will not only be able to fulfill our requirements but for other countries as well. We are glad to have joined hands with Summit India, which has generated this mass movement for the education sector, this kind of movement will help India, moving towards the growth path,” Sahasrabudhe added.

A special cultural dance performance by Dr. Nalini Kamalini, the renowned Kathak dancers duo, on the theme of – Tirange Ki Kahani, Nritya Ki Zubaani has been organised. Here are the names of winners for the Summit India - National Award for achievers 2022:
