- Netplay Sports unveils its 5th Gamepoint Center in Uppal
Netplay Sports has opened its fifth Gamepoint Center in Uppal. The Hyderabad-based company is operating a chain of world-class sport centers called Gamepoint in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.
Netplay Sports was started by Siddharth and Aditya Reddy, with first integrated gaming centre being opened in Hitec City in 2017. The gaming centre was started with an aim to offer sporting enthusiasts easy and hassle-free access to any kind of sports.
In the last two years, Netplay Sports has introduced four Gamepoint centres in Hyderabad and one in Visakhapatnam.
Besides Uppal and Hitec City, the centres are available in Madhapur and in a school in Hayathnagar wherein members can use the services post-school hours.
Aditya Reddy, Co-Founder of Netplay Sports, said, “Apart from watching sports, people in Hyderabadis are keen to actually play sports in order to keep themselves fit and healthy. However, the resources available two years ago were not easy and accessible to individuals. That is when me and brother decided to set up an international standard gaming centre which is technologically-enabled. Thus, users can just book their slots through our app and come and play as per their convenience.”

The newly launched centre offers gaming enthusiasts with global-standard badminton courts, table tennis, basketball courts, football turf along with a swimming pool, shooting range and a gym.
The centre is offered in different variations such as pay-n-play, yearly memberships, coaching programmes and partnership with schools and corporate. It had 15,000 downloads so far with about over 10,000 regular active users in these centres.
The centre is open from 5 AM to 2 AM. In addition to this, it also holds tournaments in its centres along with holding competitions for corporates and offers training as and when required.
Growth Plans
Hyderabad-based Netplay Sports is planning to launch 100 centres in the next five years across top tier-1 and 2 cities. The company will focus on towns such as Warangal and Karimnagar in Telangana for expansion.
So far, the total investment in the company has been to the tune of Rs 6 crore, of which, Rs 3.5 crore has been through angel investment.
