NIIT plans to tap tier II & III cities

IT training firm NIIT Ltd is planning to strengthen its presence in India. The company is aiming to extend its IT network by establishing new centres across the country.

Talking about the future expansion plans, Amitabh Lahiri, President, Individual Learning Solutions, NIIT Ltd, said:” Our plan is to focus on expanding the presence of our franchise in tier-II and III cities where we can set up our centres in 70-100 locations.” For opening a franchise outlet of the company, prospective franchisees will require to invest Rs 20-30 lakh along with an area of 1,200-3,500 sq.ft.
