Nippon Paint India has launched a child wellness product named 'KIDZ Paint'. This product has been introduced to safeguard children from indoor pollution arising from formaldehyde, bacterial and viral infections.
KIDZ Paint offers superior washability of walls stained by creative kids. It is a combination of three safety and wellness features. These are anti-formaldehyde technology that absorbs harmful formaldehyde present in the air, silver-ion technology to fight bacteria and virus present indoors, and anti-stain technology that offers superior washability of walls.
Mahesh Anand, President, Decorative Division, Nippon Paint India, said, "The world is moving towards wellness, hygiene and well-being and such products are aimed at creating wellness within the home."
"While the LEED rating is for products that are used in a building, the wellness rating measures how safe and healthy people within the building are," he added.
KIDZ Paint is targeting children of the 0-12 age group. Priced at about Rs 1,000 per litre, this product will be available across India, besides at Nippon’s exclusive outlets.
