- NIRAMAI & Way2Health Diagnostics to conduct free breast cancer screening for women
October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, artificial intelligence based health-tech company NIRAMAI and Way2Health Diagnostics will conduct free breast cancer screening for women throughout the month. The screening technology by NIRAMAI is unique in being non-touch and non-radiation.
From October 1 to October 31, women can get themselves screened for breast cancer at any of the following Way2Health centres in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane areas, including Seawoods, Nerul, Vashi, Kharghar, Kamothe, KoparKhairane, Ghansoli, Panvel, Thane, Vikhroli, Bandra, Kandivili and Marine Lines. The screening will be free during the month of October and will be conducted by a female technician.
Dr. Rachna Tardeja, Consultant Radiologist & Founder Director, Way2Health Diagnostics, Mumbai, said, "We are excited to partner with NIRAMAI who has brought in innovative non-touch, non-radiation, technology to make breast cancer screening easily accessible to all women who otherwise generally shy away from it. NIRAMAI (Non-Invasive Risk Assessment with Machine Intelligence) is a health-tech startup that has developed an early breast cancer detection technology that is radiation free and non-invasive.
