Nirula’s mulls franchise expansion

Nirula’s, a quick service restaurant chain is planning to take its restaurant count to approximately 150, by the end of 2012. The expansion will be across multi formats such as restaurants, ice-cream parlours and express kiosks and it will be through a mix of franchised and company owned stores, confirms a company’s official.

Presently, the company is operating through 80 outlets and has already marked its presence in cities like Panipat, Dehradun, Jaipur and Meerut. The company has a back up of Navis Capital Partners, a Malaysia-based private equity firm for expansion in smaller cities of the nation.
