Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Odysse Electric has announced receiving an order for 40,000 electric vehicles from EV-as-a-Service platform Zypp Electric as part of an investment agreement. According to the company, Zypp’s investment will strengthen Odysse Electric’s presence in the B2B market and support the nationwide expansion of its dealership network. The 40,000 vehicles will be delivered over the next three years.
Commenting on the development, Nemin Vora, CEO of Odysse Electric, said, "This new investment marks a pivotal moment for Odysse Electric. Zypp Electric's deep industry expertise and vision for fleet electrification will accelerate our nationwide expansion plans, showcasing the robust demand for EVs in both the B2B and consumer segments."
Odysse Electric aims to increase its production capacity to meet the growing demand for clean and efficient mobility solutions across urban and rural areas, particularly in the booming last-mile delivery sector.
Established in 2020, Odysse Electric’s product portfolio includes seven e-two-wheeler models, ranging from low and high-speed scooters to delivery scooters for B2B use, an EV sports bike, and a commuter bike designed for daily riders.
