Toy manufacturer OK Play launched its first retail store in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon said the company in a press release. The company has a distributor network of around 8000 retail stores in the country.
"The launch of OK Play India store is a significant achievement for us and we hope this store will give us an opportunity to increase our brand presence and to reach out to a wider target audience," said Rajan Handa, Managing Director, OK Play.
The store, which will feature an extensive range of toys for all age, will also showcase a range of teethers, rattles, squeakers and themed ride-ons for infants by brands like Tolo, Pockos, Mookie and Chillafish.
"We aim to tap on the market potential to give our consumers a wide option of safe and non-toxic toys. They are durable, weather-proof, easy to install and available in attractive colours and conform to International Toy Standard norms," added Handa.
According to the release, the brand has partnered with leading brands from US, the UK, Germany, Belgium and Japan to bring toys for the children. The Indian toy industry is estimated to be around $1.4 billion and has generated 0.5% of the global market as stated in the press release.
