Ola to Launch Six New Electric Vehicles to Indian Market by 2026

Wholly-owned subsidiary of ANI Technologies, Ola Electric on Wednesday, announced that the company will be launching six segment specific vehicle for Indian Market by the end of 2026. For now the company only manufacture Electric Scooters.

Ola currently has three scooter models – the Ola S1, the Ola S1 pro and newly launched Ola S1 Air. The Ola S1 air is said to be a budget electric scooter that can cater to the basic needs of every household.  S1 Pro, on the other side, focusses more on the premium and sporty side of newer generations. However, S1 is comes in middle of both and still far from the budget of most of the Indian customer. The company cited to focus on both the premium and budget segment.  

Founder of Ola Electric, Bhavish Aggarwal revealed that the company is planning launch of six new vehicles by year 2026. He added that the company has already started to work on all the six models and the launch will start from the 2024. In 2023, the company will work on the recently launched S1 air. Then, one premium and one mass market motorcycle will be launched in the year 2024 only. The very next year, 2025, will again witness the launch of a premium car and premium Sports Utility Vehicle. In 2026, the company will launch a mass market car.

In August, this year, Ola Founder Bhavish Aggarwal claimed that the company is going to launch the most-sportiest electric car with range of 500 Km in 2024.
