OYO is planning to bring its popular offering to Southeast Asia, with an aim to launch a swathe of new hotels in Vietnam by the end of 2020.
Recently, the hospitality firm pumped $300 million into growing the US arm of their business, bolstering both their western and eastern shore of the respective hospitality markets.
Currently, OYO has a presence in six Vietnamese cities, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Vung Tau and Nha Trang.
OYO is planning to make an investment of $50 million in the country, which will see an additional 50,000 Oyo guest rooms landing in ten Vietnamese cities by the end of 2020.
Most of the c ompany’s hotels in Vietnam are franchise arrangements in the mid-range and budget sectors.
