- PhotoExpress to have 15 stores this fiscal
PhotoExpress, a retail photographic services and personalised gifting brand, has plans to open 15 units in the current fiscal year via franchise route. The brand presently has five units, including one at Pune and four in Hyderabad.
“We have five company units and now wish to expand to 15 units by the end of this fiscal year. The expansion will be via both, franchise and company-owned units,” says Santosh Shitole, Founder and Director, 3S Photo Art Pvt Ltd that runs PhotoExpress.
Cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Pune will be among the places where the brand wants to set up its operations. The business concept of PhotoExpress, since its inception in 2009, has shown good growth and addresses the needs of corporate and individual who are looking for quality services.
The stores are based at malls to address the photo needs of individual. The company believes mostly today’s malls have not addressed this need and customers are left with option to visit only high street to get their needs done.
“We have online portal and products are shipped across India. Most of the demands have been from places like Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon, Noida, Bangalore, Chennai and tier-II and III cities like Pondicherry, Chhattisgarh and Jammu & Kashmir. This motivates us to reach pan-India customers. Opportunities exist all over India and it’s just we have to make product and services reach the people,” adds Santosh Shitole.
