- Pinkberry plans India expansion
Pinkberry, a US-based yogurt brand is ready to enter into the Indian market. The brand has signed a franchise agreement with Mumbai headquartered JSM Corporation Pvt. Ltd to develop the brand’s presence in India. The Indian master franchisee plans to unveil first Pinkberry store in Mumbai in late 2012. JSM Corporation already operates other US brands, such as California Pizza Kitchen, Trader Vic’s and Hard Rock Café in India.
Pinkberry stores are known for its freshly made products with the quality ingredients. They offer wide range of menu including different flavours of frozen yogurts with a variety of toppings. With expansion plans for India, now Pinkberry has presence in 18 countries worldwide. Presently it has nearly 180 worldwide stores about half of which are located outside of the home market. The brand started its overseas expansion in 2009 by entering into Kuwait.
