Pizza Corner, the quick service pizza restaurant, a brand of Global Franchise Architects (GFA) will be opening in Kolkata by May-end, 2010.
GFA, a Switzerland based franchisor of specialty food brands had tied up with Gama Hospitality Pvt. Ltd, (GHPL), a Kolkata based hospitality brand to launch GFA brands in eastern India last year. As a result, Coffee World and Cream & Fudge Factory outlets have already been launched and GHPL now plans to open three Pizza Corner restaurants and take the count to nearly a dozen by April 2011. These outlets would be of either combination format or stand alone format.
Gama Hospitality has already launched a couple of other GFA brands in the city and plans to introduce four more, including Pizza Corner, over the next 12 months. Currently, there are two Coffee World and three Cream & Fudge Factory outlets in the city with Donut Baker. The company plans to invest Rs 30-35 crore in 35 outlets across at least six brands within a year.
Pizza Corner is already present in Bengaluru, Mysore, Hyderabad, Pondicherry, New Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Mangalore, Varanasi and Kerala. Apart from a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian pizzas, the Pizza Corner menu has soups, salads, appetizers, calzones, sandwiches, pastas, desserts, and beverages.
