After the success of cardiac surgery, the patient is not completely out of danger, in fact, then the patient needs additional care at home, which the family members can’t give. With an aim to provide extended in-home care to the cardiac surgery patients, Portea Medical has recently joined hands with Cumbala Hill Hospital, one of the oldest hospitals of the country.

The services offered by Portea will be delivered to patients of Cumbala Hill Hospital, which also include remote ECG monitoring, chest physiotherapy, care of post surgical wounds, assistance with Activities of Daily Living such as maintaining patient hygiene, change of clothing, help with resumption of physical activities, advise on diet and nutrition plan, administering medicine etc.
Uttamani further added, “Our core attention at Cumbala Hill Hospital is on tertiary care in cardiology, cardiac surgery, laparoscopic surgery, high end urological, Eye, ENT surgeries and Hip and Knee Replacement surgeries.
