Presto, a retail chain that specialises in personalised gifts opened two retail stores at Kandivili and Viviana mall, Thane at Mumbai and one retail store at Hyderabad in the month of July 2013 making the count to 138 retail stores across India.
Promoted by Mohan Impressions Pvt Ltd, the company aims to touch 200 stores by the end of this fiscal year. The company attributes the success of its franchise model to its right mix of products, error proof support system and flexibility in the model. Presto is also adding premium line of crystal showpieces which can be personalised through 3D laser engraving. To open a presto store an investment of Rs 6-15 lakh is required with an area of 80-400 sq.ft. The RoI is 75 per cent.
At Presto, customers are also allowed to select a gift, perform personalisation with simplest possible steps and finalise the order in minimal time. Customers can create a personal online account, which they can access 24 hours in a day to check the status of an order, edit their account information and send inquiries directly to Presto’s customer service division.
