Print Studio, a printer cartridge refilling service provider is planning to open 100 franchised outlets across India by 2011. As told to Ramanjit Kaur of FIHL, “We are aiming to capture five to eight per cent of the organised cartridge refilling market by having 100 franchisees by March 2011.” said Rajesh C P, Managing Director, Print Studio.
The company is eyeing Tier I and II cities to expand in India and is also planning to foray into international markets such as Nepal and Sri Lanka. Presently, the company supports eight franchised stores in Mumbai, Bangalore, Kochi, New Delhi and Bangalore.
According to Rajesh C P, “We have three different franchising models for our franchisees, which are authorised refillers, unit franchisee and master franchisee.” Authorised refillers require an investment of about Rs 2-6 lakh depending on the city and an area of around 100-200 sq ft. While unit franchisee needs Rs 4-12 lakh as investment and 300-400 sq ft space and a master franchisee, which is the third model, requires an investment of about Rs 30 lakh and an area of 1,200 sq ft.
The company is known not only for its regular refilling services but also for its printing, lamination, spiral binding and courier services.
