Provogue India, a renowned lifestyle brand plans to foray into the West Asian markets. The company has now decided to export its products and is on a look out for franchise partners. The company had earlier ventured into Dubai through the Splash group of stores but found the retail locations unsuitable.
Provogue is also planning to open 2o new stores across India at an investment of Rs 13 crore. As told to Abha Garyali of FIHL, the company is open for franchising now and will expand through both franchise and company owned outlets. The company has enough funds for expansion and has left behind the toughest years. The SAP-enabled company has reinforced its back-end operations and is now focusing on the front end.
Provogue faces competition both from international and national brands as there are a several players in the premium end of the garment industry. Positioning itself as a lifestyle brand, Provogue is also looking for joint ventures in the eyewear and body-care segments.
