Electric Vehicles Fleet drivers can now seamlessly discover and charge across more than 20 different charging networks via Pulse Energy.

Pulse Energy, an EV charger aggregator has announced its partnership with ChargeZone and more than 20 charging networks across India. The partnership is aimed at offering a unified EV charging experience to EV users and fleets.

Fleet operators can now partner with Pulse Energy directly to get access to affordable and accessible charging options across 20+ charging networks irrespective of where they are operating in India. Individual EV users can download any one of Pulse Energy’s applications to access the entire network - like the InstaCharge app, where users can start and stop more than 2000 fast chargers. Through this, Pulse Energy is helping build a new open EV charging network on the backbones of ONDC called Unified Energy Interface

The latest integration with ChargeZone bolsters Pulse Energy’s network with an additional over 400 CCS2 chargers available across all the main highways in the country, making weekend trips a hassle free experience for individual EV drivers. Pulse Energy’s largest customer base continues to be the 160 EV fleet operators and 15,000 EV drivers that use their network daily. EV fleet operators leverage Pulse Energy today as a way to streamline their charger accessibility and reduce their charging costs.

Fleet drivers don’t need to download an app or keep track of any username or passwords. They simply plug the vehicle in and start the charging process via Whatsapp. This high utilization on a daily basis ensures that the Pulse Energy network remains robust and reliable compared to other charger aggregators in the market.

Charge Point Operators, who leverage Pulse energy’s platform have seen an increase of 20 per cent in their charger utilization in less than four weeks. Pulse Energy helps CPOs understand where exactly to deploy chargers in a city, and helps them get more traffic via the open EV charging network called Unified Energy Interface. Recently the group along with other EV startups like Kazam, Sheru and Turno demonstrated the power of an open energy network to Shri Nandan Nilekanni and his team.

Reflecting on insights gained from collaborating with multiple eMSPs,  Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and CEO, MD of Tesco ChargeZone, shares valuable perspectives on the learnings from partnering with multiple eMSPs: “By joining forces with Pulse Energy and an extensive network of over 20 charging providers, we are reshaping the EV charging landscape in India. Our collaboration doesn't just offer convenience; it represents a pivotal shift towards a unified and accessible charging infrastructure. With ChargeZone's integration, we're enhancing Pulse Energy's network with hundreds of additional CCS2 chargers along major highways, ensuring seamless journeys for EV drivers. Together, we're not just facilitating charging; we're driving a paradigm shift towards sustainability and innovation in the EV ecosystem.”

Akhil Jayaprakash, Co-Founder at Pulse Energy explains their mission - “We are demand aggregators from a CPOs point of view, and our SaaS platform for CPOs helps them partner with as many charger aggregators as possible helping them turn ROI positive. There isn’t going to be one single charging app that gives users access to every charging network, instead it’s going to be ubiquitous like UPI, you can use Google Pay or a PhonePe app to pay at any charger - we are going to make that happen with UEI”
