- Rajdhani to open 24 restaurants by 2012
Khandani Rajdhani, a vegetarian Thali Restaurant chain run by Mirah Hospitality, is planning to open 24 new outlets across the country by beginning of next year. The new stores will be a mixture of both the company owned and franchised outlets.
The company is looking to enhance its presence in north India by opening seven outlets in the north. Initiating this plan, Rajdhani recently launched its new outlet at Connaught Place in Delhi. This outlet is Rajdhani’s first own flagship outlet in north. With this new outlet, Rajdhani now has 30 outlets across 19 cities.
The flagship store in Delhi is 2,000 sq. ft and is two storeyed. The restaurant will have 70 covers (seats). The entire ambience of Rajdhani replicates the look and feel of Rajasthan and Gujarat including its furniture and the thali in which the food is served. The staff and Maharajas (Chefs) add to the authenticity of Rajasthan and Gujarat to its cuisine.
