Rajesh Exports (REL), the manufacturers of gold jewellery plans to open 52 stores under their jewellery brand ‘Shubh’. It will take the total number of stores to 125 from present 73 stores by the end of this fiscal year. The expansion will be done via franchise route.
The brand is targeting tier I, II and III cities for expansion. REL also has plans to open 295 showrooms by 2013.
In terms of area Shubh can be started off with an area of 300 sq. ft to 3,000 sq. ft at prime location or in a jeweller street.
