He added "For the past two years, we have established a working group focused on creating a policy framework for providing round-the-clock green power to EV charging stations. We are currently drafting a white paper outlining necessary policies and regulations, and we have submitted our initial recommendations while collaborating with both ministries.
We have also initiated pilot projects with our members, including a solar-powered EV charging station in Hauz Khas village, which has been operational since June 26. Our goal is to understand how we can enhance the green footprint of charging and replicate this model in other states with high EV adoption. Additionally, under the PM Surekha flagship scheme, we are exploring the potential for rooftop charging at homes and will be providing our suggestions to the government."
