Roca Bathrooms Products Pvt. Ltd, a company that has well known brands like Parryware, Armani-Roca, Laufen, Roca, Johnsson Suisse and Johnson Pedder under its umbrella is looking for direct franchisees. The company follows a different strategy in terms of dealership and penetration for each of these brands.
Pau Abello, Managing Director, Roca Bathrooms Products Pvt. Ltd tells Franchise India: “The bathroom fittings market is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 15% until 2016. The organised segment makes up almost 45% of the market, and is growing faster than the industry average.”
On expansion via distribution he says: “As a brand we are always keen in expanding our distribution across the country, but only after a proper analysis of the situation, we come to a decision of the opportunity we can offer to a particular prospective investor or a dealer. Like for example, every week I and my commercial team receive a number of inquiries for being a distributor of any of our brands. For this, we check our footprint in that region and if we are not preset there, or we need to reinforce it, we carefully analyse and decide if we can give the dealership to the requester. On the other hand, if it comes from a place where we are already have a dealership network, we always offer them the possibility to become a retailer of our brand. In all the cases possible, our company gives the required marketing support to set up the business.”
India’s sanitary ware and bathroom fittings sector is estimated to be Rs 800 crore in size and is expected to register a 12% CAGR between 2013 and 2018.
