In an interview with Franchise India, Divya Jain, Founder & CEO of Safeducate shares the expansion plans of Safeducate and the goals set for 2022.

Divya says, “Safeducate believes that skill development is not just about making someone job ready. Skilling can result in entrepreneurship as well. The organization aims to cater to the immediate skill-building needs of the school dropouts, the underprivileged and make them job ready for the entry-level position. Safeducate has opened over 150 centers across Pan India and has trained more than 70,000 candidates till date. It intends to revolutionize the supply chain education arena with its extensive knowledge, experience and expertise in the field. Through the courses that we offer, we have provided not only employment but also helped companies solve their logistics skill deficit and thus, contribute to the community and economy.”

Inception

Divya says, “I always had the urge to help the society and the best way to do that is by making them stand on their own feet, so instead of joining my home company Safexpress, Group, which is one of India’s largest supply chain and Logistics Company, I choose to become a social entrepreneur and then came an idea of  using scrapped shipping containers and that’s how I created India’s first container school with a mission to drive skilling and outreach programmes in the remote areas of the country created at minimal costs a few years ago. The container school was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi while unveiling his Skill India Program three years ago at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.”

She adds, “Safeducate has more than 450 employees and over 150 centers across the country. Safeducate has trained more than 70,000 students and aims to exceed that number to 1 lakh this quarter.”
