Bollywood actor Salman Khan is all set to launch his own gym equipment range, contributing in his way to the Fit India movement. The new range will be launched under a new line.
Salman already manages his clothing, jewellery, and E-cycle brands under the Being Human umbrella.
The actor has acquired the 100% manufacturing rights of Jerai Fitness, the fitness equipment company. Jerai Fitness has been in existence for more than 25 years and supplies to over hundred gyms a month across India.
The new venture, aiming to create awareness and educate people about the importance of being healthy and fit, promises to have a wide reach.
Salman Khan envisions making fitness affordable to everyone with Made in India, state-of-the-art fitness equipment. He would like to reach out to each village, town and city in India, which can help create job opportunities for fitness entrepreneurs and sportspersons of the country.
