Sbarro, a chain of pizza restaurants that specialises in New York-style pizzas and other Italian-American cuisine opened its second outlet in North India at Connaught Place, New Delhi.

Sbarro, a chain of pizza restaurants that specialises in New York-style pizzas and other Italian-American cuisine opened its second outlet in North India at Connaught Place, New Delhi. The launch was in association with its Master Franchisee for North & East India, Jyoti International Foods Pvt. Ltd. (JIFPL), a leading company in the food supply chain/cold chain sector. The brand plans to expand its footprints in North and East India and open 30 - 40 outlets within the next five years in Delhi NCR, Punjab, Rajasthan, Kolkata & Gujarat, at key strategic locations like Malls/Metro locations/Airports/Universities/Tech parks etc.

The newly opened Sbarro outlet will enable customers to have access to an enviable variety of superior-quality fresh handmade products with quick speed of service. The brand strongly advocates the  ‘value for money’ and ‘freedom of choice’ proposition, as it allows its customers to choose their individual slices from the wide variety of 17” Extra Large NY style pizzas at an affordable price, staying true to its tagline- ‘My life, My slice’.

Speaking on the occasion, Akhil Puri, CEO, JIFPL said “We are constantly trying to get closer to our patrons, by serving them food that is fresh, high on quality and value for money. Opening an outlet in Connaught Place will help us blend together the heritage and history of two great cities – New Delhi and New York.
