SchoolConnect is the new cool thing for Parents

E-School is the new cool for parents worried about their children's education since the kids start speaking. If the parents are working, then the trouble of looking for multiple schools, filling never ending forms, and visiting the schools to match it with the brochure and many such little things do play an important role before finalising.

Even after finalising the school, going for as many tests and interviews takes a toll on the mental health of the child and parents along with office pressure.

Thus an online platform has been formed by SchoolConnects, a Chennai-based start-up company that connects parents with schools and other education partners. It was launched in November 2014, which offers researched and validated information, including admission timelines and processes and selection criteria of over 1, 800 schools across nine major cities.

Rajiv Sanghvi, co-founder of SchoolConnects.in, said, "There is always some anxiety about when application forms will be available for various schools as there is no reliable source of information. Schools can save on printing forms, brochures, keeping clerks for collection and compilation of forms; parents can save the time otherwise spent waiting in queue outside schools."

Umesh Jain, Founder, SchoolConnects. in, said, "We have a dedicated team who reaches out to schools to get the most recent status and provide consolidated views on admission calendar and number of seats."
