Sewa (Self Employed Women’s Association), a Gujarat-based company has geared up to expand the presence of the company by launching its premium handicraft brand ‘Hansiba’. The brand and its products will be available through company’s franchise partner called Fabindia.
The company is also planning to increase its footprint globally and is targeting a turnover of 40 per cent annually. Sewa plans to open eight outlets of ‘Hansiba’ by the next fiscal year. Presently, the company supports three outlets of Hansiba in Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai.
Sewa is targeting both the commercial as well as the franchise segment for Hansiba. As per the company, the demand for such products is massive in south Asian countries like, US, UK, Turkey and other European countries. The company also is aiming to introduce a new line of products called ‘Sabaah’, which will be made available only for the international markets.
