E-commerce platform ShopClues has claimed to clock a 120 percent surge in demand for ‘Made in India’ products this festive season over last year.
Catering to the festive demand, ShopClues had expanded the inventory on its platform to more than 4 crore products sold by over 7.5 lakh vendors. The Gurugram-based e-tailer currently retails goods across fashion, home décor, and electronics categories covering 31,500 pin codes in India.
Anuraag Gambhir, Head of Marketplace, ShopClues said, “To meet the needs of our customers, we have expanded our range of merchandise and partnered with several local vendors whose diverse products add much value to our platform. We hope to elevate the shopping experience for our customers by offering them great promotional offers on our products this year.”
The e-tailer added that indigenous merchants have seen significant growth this season. The company has also strengthened its branded merchandise platform ‘ShopClues Prime Mall’ which will focus on branded assortment and imported products from all over the world.
The platform was set to run Diwali and Karwa Chauth special sales through October.
