- Siyaram's mulls expansion in cities with five lakh plus population
Siyaram Silk Mills Limited, a leading producer of blended fabrics in India is planning to open outlets pan-India, particularly in all major cities with a population of 5 lakh and above. Currently the company has 175 outlets. Out of these 165 are franchisee run.
Elaborating about the expansion plans, Jasvinder Arora, GM- Retail, Siyaram Silk Mills Limited says: “In last couple of years we have opened a new outlet every 8th day on an average. By the end of first quarter 2014 we have already opened 20 outlets.”
Incorporated in 1978, Siyaram’s is spread across a wide network of over 1 lakh outlets across India and manufactures 60 million meters of fabrics annually. It is known for diverse designs in blended high fashion shirting and blended fashion apparels. Siyaram Silk Mills Ltd features brands like Siyaram’s suitings and shirtings, J. Hampstead, Mistair, Royale Linen and many more. Casa Moda is the home furnishing division and Little Champs is a range of school uniform fabrics for children.
